This is our last lecture of Contemporary World Development, in Room 01.08 of Elizabeth Fry building, UEA, on 27 March 2006.
Our course convenor is Mr. Ken Cole. There is one thing he always reminds me :
Different people describe the same thing from different perspectives due to their different background and experience. Objective reality is subjectively perceived. Things went wrong when some people began to close their doors, when some people refused to listen to others.
Our coursemates clapped their hands.
This is what Ken used to do when he was trying to explain : social and individual are interdependent.
